Meta Burger is a plant-based burger shop located in an outdoor shopping location on the outskirts of Pearl Street in Boulder, Colorado. I stumbled upon this spot while I was waiting for my tire appointment and the tearoom I wanted to go to had a 45-minute wait for one single person. I was hungry but I didnt know where else to go in Boulder I was headed back to the tire shop to wait and I saw this burger place next to a target and some other shops that I just had to stop in.
Immediately after entering, the design was very interesting. There was a cool accent wall that was good enough for an influencer to stand in front of and do a photo shoot. The rest of the restaurant was white-based, neutral colors with this design pattern on their cups and burger wrap to protect the burger. It had the feel and vibes of an old soda shop with a modern twist. I could see teenagers stop in and hang out after classes on the weekdays.
Their burgers were sold as single with extra pricing for fries and a drink. I opted for only a burger and a drink. The burger was also pretty good. It's also a fast food place. Many people came in to just pick up or drivers stopped by to get orders. What really got me was the different flavors of drinks they had. Each one was created differently which helped ensure the “old soda pop” feel. The food was good, the drinks were delicious, and the vibes were great. I recommend this place if you have the time to make it out there.
