This was one of my all-time favorite taco joints in Austin, Texas. Probably one of my favorite tex mex places in all of Texas. It was right down the road from us, between our apartments and barton springs where we would hang out almost every single Saturday in the summer.
The food was delicious, and it was fairly cheap. They had a fun little secret menu that you could order from. Their menu was pretty small which means that they know what they specialize in and what they don't. Having a small menu, in my opinion, shows that they know what is liked and what they like making versus having a large menu, which shows the restaurant doesn't know what they like to make or what kind of restaurant they are. They want to accommodate everyone.
The place had a lot of parking for a place right outside of downtown and a lot of foot traffic. However, the building itself is very small. It holds long tables but the ordering process is less than Ideal. However, what they lack in ordering flow, they shine with food and outdoor seating as well.
This is a fun, family-friendly, dog and animal-friendly place. You should definitely check it out if you're around the town.
